PM Imran Khan took an impressive initiative to support and uplift the youth of Pakistan. For this, the premier launched Kamyab Jawan Program in October 2019. Soft loans in three different categories have been provided to train youth and develop businesses.
So far, more than 1 billion rupees loans have been disbursed among the young entrepreneurs and provided skilled-based jobs in Pakistan. Kamyab Jawan Program was intended to provide resources and necessary funds for taking on new business ventures to develop a business.

KAMYAB JAWAN PROGRAM
Youth development is a fantastic program for the empowerment and development of Pakistani youth. The bold initiative will have far-reaching and durable effects, creating more jobs and developing businesses in different spheres.
This plan focuses on training the youth in the latest skills like IT, vocational and technical. On the other hand, extending financial assistance in the form of soft loans in different tiers will promote entrepreneurship, depending on the nature and scope of the business plan.
Similarly, the social engagement of youth in the creative development programs and increasing their participation in socially and economically viable initiatives in all provinces of Pakistan will help the Government grow the economy fast.
United Nations Development Program (UNDP) supports this program to leverage the skills and foster innovation by supporting the new ideas of the Pakistani youth. In addition, it helps the Government create a million jobs in-country by developing new businesses and providing technical and financial assistance.
KAMYAB JAWAN PROGRAM INITIATIVES
Being a full-fledged program for youth development, Kamyab Jawan Program touches every aspect of youth needs. From skills learning to jobs and from entrepreneurial ventures to social engagement, every program envisions engaging and incorporating the youth in the country’s development. Kamyab Jawan Program envisions bringing a flourishing environment where the young people can find opportunities to grow themselves and raise the country’s self-esteem. Besides, other projects are also part of this program to meet the needs of youth in different provinces. It will help support them at the local and grass-root levels. The transparent delivery of the project will ensure the partnership and engagement of the child. The potential and skilled youth will have more significant opportunities to grow professionally, ultimately supporting the economy of Pakistan.
KAMYAB JAWAN LOAN
People from age 21 to 45 years are eligible for applying to the Kamyab Jawan Loan Program. Different tiers for loans have been devised to meet the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
Tier 1 Loans will provide loans up to Rs. 100,000 up to Rs. 1,000, 000 with 3% markup. It requires no guarantee.
Tier 2 loans will provide loan from 1,000,000 to 10, 000, 000 with 4% markup. It requires security.
Tier 3 loans will provide loan from 10,000,000 to 25,000,000 with 5% mark up. It requires security.
The loan returning period is eight years.
